Practical Info
Stenico Castle is 35 km from Trento, and can be reached by taking the SS45 bis to Tione as far as Ponte Arche; then follow the directions – location on Google Maps.

PHYSICAL ACCESSIBILITY
Visiting Buonconsiglio Castle in Trento and its related sites Thun Castle, Beseno Castle, Caldes Castle and Stenico Castle may pose challenges for anyone with mobility difficulties.
STENICO CASTLE
Stenico Castle has stairs and other physical barriers and there are no elevators.
The last stretch of pedestrian road leading to the entrance has a steep slope, cobblestone ground, and uneven terrain in places.
In any case, it is recommended you contact the Museum (tel. +39 0461 492811 or dedicated email address) for more precise information regarding access arrangements.
OPENING TIMES
Stenico Castle is CLOSED on all non-holiday Mondays, December 25th and January 1st.
EXTRAORDINARY OPENINGS: April 21st, June 2nd and December 8th 2025; every Monday in August 2025.
N.B. Last admission to the Museum is half an hour before the closing time.
- SPECIAL ENTRANCE: during weekday closing (except Mondays) it is possible to arrange entry by sending, during the 48 hours before your visit, a request to the dedicated emailn address or by calling +39 0461 492811 (from Monday to Friday: between 9.00 a.m. and 1 p.m.) upon payment in advance by bank transfer;
- PHOTOGRAPHS and video recordings for editorial, advertising and commercial use are only permitted with prior authorisation;
- DOG-FRIENDLY: all dogs may enter the museum gardens provided they are kept on a leash. Only small-sized dogs are allowed to enter if always carried in arms or in a carrier.

On closing days (except Mondays), it is possible to visit Beseno Castle, Stenico Castle, and Thun Castle upon advance payment via bank transfer. Please note that, for organisational reasons, a written request must be sent to the dedicated email address or by calling + 39 0461-492811 (Monday > Friday, 9 A.M. > 1 P.M.) at least 48 hours in advance.

Audio Guide Service

For safety reasons, audio guide devices can only be used with earphones: please remember to bring your own to avoid eco-unfriendly.

Two adults with minors (up to 18 years): Pay only two full price tickets for the whole group: 14,00 €
One adult with minors (up to 18 years): Pay only one full price ticket for the whole group 7,00 €
Activities for families at fixed hours (Family price including entry) 8,00€
For holders of the Family Card and the Euregio Family Pass: reduced price tickets for the parent(s) accompanying one or more children under 18.
Groups
Groups of at least 15 paying visitors (combined ticket for 5 locations does not grant access to the Museum): 5.00 €

- if an invoice is required, please fill in the form for the desired location and send it to uff.amministrativo@castellodelbuonconsiglio.tn.it at least 5 working days before the date of your visit, indicating the method of payment:
