Practical Info
Caldes Castle is located in Val di Non, in the Caldes residential area, a few kilometers from Malé. It can be reached by car from the road that from Trento, passing through Cles, leads to Malè or by the Trento-Malé railway: the Caldes train station is exactly in front of the Castle – location on Google Maps.

All dogs may enter the museum gardens provided they are kept on a leash. Only small-sized dogs are allowed to enter if always carried in arms or in a carrier.
PHYSICAL ACCESSIBILITY
Visiting Buonconsiglio Castle in Trento and its related sites Thun Castle, Beseno Castle, Caldes Castle and Stenico Castle may pose challenges for anyone with mobility difficulties.
In some of these locations, the last stretch of pedestrian road leading to the entrance has a steep slope, cobblestone ground, and uneven terrain in places.
CALDES CASTLE
Caldes Castle has stairs and other physical barriers and there are no elevators.
It is possible to access the Chapel dedicated to the Virgin Mary and the entrance by wheelchair.
In any case, it is recommended you contact the Museum (tel. 39 0461 492811 and dedicated email address) for more precise information regarding access arrangements.

- close until March 25th 2025;
- EXTRAORDINARY OPENINGS: April 21st, June 2nd, 2025 and every Monday in August 2025;
- PHOTOGRAPHS and video recordings for editorial, advertising and commercial use are only permitted with prior authorisation;

On closing days (except Mondays), it is possible to visit Beseno Castle, Stenico Castle, and Thun Castle upon advance payment via bank transfer. Please note that, for organisational reasons, a written request must be sent to the dedicated email address or by calling + 39 0461-492811 (from Monday to Friday 9 a.m – 1 p.m.) at least 48 hours in advance.

Groups can purchase tickets online, only if an invoice is not required for purchases with an invoice request, fill in the form of the chosen location and send it to the dedicated email address at least 5 working days before the date of visit.
