Practical Info
Castel Valer can be reached by exiting the A22 Brenner motorway at San Michele all’Adige and proceeding along the State Road no. 43 in the Val di Non up to the Santa Giustina dam and then taking the Provincial Road 10 (see location on Google Maps).

PHYSICAL ACCESSIBILITY
Visiting Buonconsiglio Castle in Trento and all its other sites may pose challenges for anyone with mobility difficulties.
VALER CASTLE
Castel Valer has stairs and other physical barriers and there are no elevators.
The last stretch of pedestrian road leading to the entrance has a steep slope, cobblestone ground and uneven terrain in places.

Castel Valer may be visited only as part of a guided tour, which lasts about an hour and a half.
