BUONCONSIGLIO COLLECTIONS

The castle houses numerous collections of art and archaeology, with its first core formed in the first half of the 19th century within the framework of the Civic Museum of Trento. These objects cover an extremely broad chronological span from prehistory to the first half of the 19th century, documenting the historical and artistic events of the city of Trento and its territory. Additionally, the museum holds works of art received through private collecting and cultural exchanges that this frontier region has experienced.

The museum preserves a rich collection of paintings, detached frescoes, wooden sculptures, chests, prints, medals, bronzes, glassware, majolica, and ethnographic artifacts.
