Sculpture

The sculpture in the museum speaks through various materials.
The majority of stone artifacts come from churches and palaces in Trentino, covering a period from the early Middle Ages to the late 18th century.
The collection of wooden sculpture testifies to an art that reaches levels of excellence in the Alpine region, blending Nordic, Lombard, and Venetian influences. Lastly, a collection of great importance includes Renaissance bronzes and plaques, expressing the antiquarian passion and expertise achieved by artists in this realm suspended between sculptural art and goldsmithing.
